Six of the Best
Our speakers deliver informative insights into their specialist areas
of expertise. They also enlighten, inspire, entertain and motivate. Here
are six of the most requested and topical speakers with contrasting
styles and consistent excellence.
David Thompson
enjoys a high profile career, centred on talent management and people
development. His first book Career
Helium was such a success that two more books have been
commissioned. Currently Head of People & Organisation Development at ABN
AMRO, David speaks on getting (and giving) the best from your own career
and how to reach the top. At his request, David is exclusive with DBA.
Dame Stella Rimington
was formerly Director General of the Security Service (MI5).
Invited to speak at a wide range of events all over the world to audiences
including blue-chip corporates, banks, public and private sectors, trades
associations and schools, her friendly manner and straightforward approach
are combined with an informed and intelligent view. She tailors her speech
each time and is happy to take questions. DBA are delighted, at her
request, to look after all Dame Stella's speaking engagements.
Pen Hadow
is described as "the thinking person's explorer". The first person to
complete the solo polar journey, without re-supply, from Canada to the
North Geographic Pole, he tells of the challenges faced and the sacrifices
made to succeed. He has firm opinions on the effects of global climate
change and will return to the Arctic in 2009 to prove his convictions.
Audiences like his approachable style and his knowledge of environmental
issues make him a natural choice for DBA clients in 2008.
Monty Halls
is one of our most popular speakers. An ocean adventurer, TV presenter,
film-maker and marine biologist, he leads projects to turn individuals
into an effective team, often in challenging and unfamiliar surroundings.
An entertaining and dynamic force on the podium, Monty's presentations
include hilarious after dinner speeches, talks on life as a dive
journalist, hosting awards and detailed motivational seminars, all
supported by excellent photographs and film footage.
Patrick Cordingley
is known as one of the very best speakers on Leadership. DBA
co-ordinate all his speaking engagements with many clients who want more
of his expertise and who invite him back. He commanded the 12,000-strong
Desert Rats in the first Gulf War and lead by example. Often on TV and
media worldwide, his cool commentary and calm observations offer insight
and clarity.
Roger Black
is well-known from his work on TV and media sport, in addition to his
Silver Medal in the Olympics 4x400m relay (1996) and Gold Medal at The
World Championships in the 4x400m (1991). Having overcome serious injuries,
he speaks on success in sport and life both on an individual level and as
a team. Roger's skills as an accomplished and successful TV presenter lead
to demand for him as a corporate events and awards host. DBA are delighted
to be working with Roger on a major project for 2008.
