Gardener, BBC broadcaster, writer, speaker and lecturer

“Inspiring, educational, entertaining and fun” - a perfect way to describe Pippa.
Engaging, practical, enthusiastic, and passionate about all aspects of gardening and horticulture.

Pippa is well-known to a global audience as one of the longest-serving panellists on the hugely popular BBC Radio 4 programme Gardeners’ Question Time, having been on the programme for the over 30 years. She was a regular presenter on BBC 2’s Gardeners World for 13 years.

Pippa has appeared on TV and radio programmes including: Tomorrow’s World, You and Yours, Women’s Hour, This Morning, GMTV, Breakaway, Grass Roots and Call My Bluff. She was also a judge for the BBC Garden of the Year 2001 competition.

Pippa speaks at a wide range of events for audiences of expert gardeners and complete beginners, for students and young people and everyone keen to “grow your own” fruit and vegetables.
She also gives more formal lectures and gardening-related demonstrations.

Her own garden is on a windswept hillside in Hampshire, with strongly alkaline, heavy-clay soil, where she created and ran an organic kitchen garden. She runs her own company selling fruit and vegetable plants to keen home gardeners, with her expert support and advice alongside.

Pippa was excellent, and we’re very happy recommend her. Cannot think of anything to improve! Thank you to DBA Speakers for recommending Pippa as our speaker
