Diana Boulter

Diana Boulter

Diana was born in London. She obtained a Double Honours Degree in French and Italian from the University of Exeter then used her language skills as a Tour Director working throughout Europe. She worked in the London office of a multi-national investment firm handling mergers & acquisitions (principally for high-tech and skincare firms), then for a bespoke travel company and later ran a stately home in Suffolk for a British aristocrat. Returning to Surrey, she worked within the events industry before being encouraged by clients and speakers to form DBA.

Married to Simon Stacey, she enjoys cooking, knitting, travel (India and Italy are favourites) and writing.

Sharon Bates

Sharon Bates

Sharon is our “high flier”. Her career began behind the reception desk at a 5-star hotel but really took off when she achieved her ambition to join British Airways. Sharon flew for more than 20 years and her favourite destinations include Sydney, New York and Cape Town. Working her way up to Purser in First Class, she looked after celebrities, film stars, politicians and royalty.

Sharon answered an advert in 2009 and has been with DBA ever since. She supports Diana in an all-round PA role, planning events and looking after our clients and speakers. Married to Sean, mum of Harry and Jack, a “Beaver leader” and involved in a number of charities, her real challenge is getting her two cats (Monty and Meg) to behave.

Maxine Dunnage

Maxine Dunnage

Maxine has enjoyed a kaleidoscope career. Born in London, she worked as a foot hygienist for the NHS and then looked after displays of tropical plants in hotels. Aged 25, she attended college full-time to train as a beauty therapist and worked in professional salons for 15 years before becoming PA to an international gardens photographer regularly attending RHS Wisley, Chelsea and Hampton Court.

Maxine joined DBA in 2011 and she is our database expert. With her partner, Peter, she has a daughter Olivia and eight guinea pigs. She’s very interested in films and music, which isn’t surprising as her dad was the drummer for Ronnie Wood’s brother.

Gloria

Gloria is a 7 year-old British Blue-Cream shorthaired cat.

She combines all the qualities to which many of us aspire, including a complete inability to become stressed about anything.

Lucy

Lucy is a 4-year-old tri-colour Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Friendly with everyone and a hopeless guard dog, she enjoys walks by the river but doesn't come to the office on the same days as Gloria, for obvious reasons.
